His award-winning feature films include At the Meeting with Joyous Death (with Gérard Depardieu), The Lady with Red Boots (with Catherine Deneuve and Fernando Rey), and Leonor (with Liv Ullmann and Michel Piccoli). Juan Luis’ imaginative paintings and sculpture have been exhibited in galleries in France, Mexico, the U.S., and Spain.
